Random doodle of Gen I decided to paint.

This is the line from the book The Thief by Megan Whalen Turner that made me realize I was going to LOVE this series. And I was right :D

Totally recommended if someone hasn't read it!

PS: I CAN FINALLY DRAW AGAIN. I've had an artist's block for about a month now...

Gosh, he's cute. I think we forget how precious Gen really is because he's usually distracting us with his badassery.

WOAH.

I never thought I'd find fanart for this series, and yet...here it is. I love your version of Gen!

This is *awesome*. I love how young he looks, and how he's obviously handsome, not just cute.

~ "anachred" from Sounis on LJ, if that means anything to you XD

This looks great! I especially like the shades on his shirt. I've never heard of this series, but it seems good, I'll read it sometime in the future. :D
And I hope I'm not rude, but what texture did you use in this picture, some kind of paper or concrete? Because I've trying to accomplish a similar effect on some of my drawings, but failed miserably, it would help me a lot.
